**Job Description**:
This trusted advisor role within Experian Auto works with all facets of the organization (sales, product, operations, contracts, and finance) to help secure business for Experian. They construct and negotiate competitive and creative pricing strategies to win business aligned to client success and financial objectives. In addition to negotiating daily pricing opportunities, this role will have responsibility for performing pricing analysis and implementing Salesforce configurations.
**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Actively structure and participate in pricing negotiations, deal structure, profitability models and sales efforts across multiple Experian lines of businesses, including large and complex deals
- Creatively position pricing responses for Proposal requests that maximize revenues, protects AUPs, ensure future spend and builds market share
- Collaborate with Sales Operations team to improve the pricing governance process
- Conduct process analysis to help improve pricing operations and management
- Support requirements gathering and provide recommendations on designing new pricing models
- Collaborate with internal partners within Sales, Contracts, Finance and Product to move pricing proposals from inception, to negotiation to implementation.
- Collaborate with other internal Auto teams to perform pricing analysis, margin analysis, and price increase analysis
- Develop deep understanding of Experian’s products, operations and cost drivers, and incorporate this knowledge into pricing practices to improve margins
- Implement Auto Pricing configuration additions/changes in SF/CPQ
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in pricing or a similar Finance / Business role
- BA / BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Requires solid quantitative analysis combined with qualitative research to support product pricing
- Experience managing and evolving pricing processes that involve cross-functional partners
- Ability to work independently, take the initiative and have high level of ownership
- Experience developing financial models in Excel using multiple data sources
- Experience in Salesforce required; Experience in Tableau preferred
- Financial analytics with deep understanding of revenue, margin and pricing
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage projects across multiple business partners in a fast-paced environment
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills including entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and a collaborative mindset
