The role:
The Azure Cloud Consultant - is a key member of the Cloud Compute Technology Services team. This individual leads and manages small to medium sized cloud based design and deployment projects. Individual provides guidance and support to associates consultants for any professional services engagements. Individual drives quality through ensuring that standard service and project methodologies are followed in all engagements. Supports Global Service architects and Global delivery in the refinement of existing services and processes. The role requires knowledge of architecture, technical concepts, practices and procedures related to the Microsoft Technology Stack and specifically to Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies. Working with our customers, you will help architectural design sessions, work on pilot and migration to the cloud projects and other Azure and on-premises hybrid cloud projects.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Leading the implementation of small, and medium multi-national engagements within and across countries.
- Execution of medium complex consulting services based on best practice.
- Proposing problem solving activities and approaches for dynamic customer challenges within engagements.
- Provide expert guidance to customers, driving solution architecture, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy.
- Ability to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
- Ability to develop Architecture Specification deliverables that map customer business requirements to solution / technologies.
- Create and implement a solution roadmap and select the right infrastructure and technology platform or product based on in-depth knowledge of one and broad knowledge of other technologies and/or alliance product landscape.

What we need to see from you:

- Proficient Consulting skills
- Customer business understanding: Governance, objectives, practices and processes controls related to business requirements
- Experience in using PowerShell to automate Windows functions/activities
- 2+ years of relevant experience in architecting, designing and implementing cloud solutions
- 3+ years of customer interaction in a technical leadership role Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS environments
- Experience in designing and implementing Hybrid Cloud solution projects involving implementing Private/Hybrid Clouds and good knowledge on infrastructure areas involving Storage, Servers, Network etc., and broad knowledge in other areas of Cloud & Infrastructure
- Preferred knowledge with serverless computing and Infrastructure as Code
- Preferred knowledge around containerization as well as micro services
- Preferred knowledge around Data Platform and Analytics offerings
- Preferred knowledge of Security offerings supporting cloud environments
- Preferred knowledge of BDCR (Business Continuity Disaster Recovery) offerings supporting cloud environments.

**Knowledge & Education Requirements**
- University degree preferred (in the field of Information Technology and/or or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- 3-5 years’ experience designing Microsoft technical solutions and services.
- 3+ years’ experience with the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
- Technical Certifications required on both Microsoft Windows and Azure Cloud platform.
