**Overview of the Role**:
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer capable of delivering high standards of technical quality and innovation, always striving for continuous improvement, and looking to help all different types of clients around the world.

To ensure success, you must have detailed knowledge of development techniques, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

**As part of the team, you will**:

- Work with software development teams to gather requirements and ensure best practices adhere
- Conform to existing industry and Verizon security coding standards adhering to fortify scan and other security tool review requirements
- Conduct code reviews for junior members of the team and do peer code reviews to make sure the code is following standards set forward by the architects
- Resolve code issues with urgency

**Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role**:

- **Advanced English** (spoken and written)
- 5+ years of experience in Java
- SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Algorithm knowledge
- Agile methodologies management
- Understanding of best practices, SOLID principles, CLEAN Code, and scalable solutions
- Design Patterns knowledge
- Automated tests, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Version control
- Microservices and the Cloud
- IT infrastructure knowledge
