The Payroll Manager LATAM primary responsibility is to manage the payroll process across Latin American region (7 countries) in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the payroll team of 3 staff by maintaining WFS payroll deadlines.- Ability to process payrolls across Latin American region for 7 countries.- Review payroll data of other members of the Payroll team before signing off.- Ability to liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations by ensuring service levels are met and act as the point of contact for any escalated payroll queries.- Maintain close communication with workers unions.- Administer the Year End tax filings and disbursement of employee forms for all applicable countries.- Administer Expatriate related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.- Maintain the LATAM shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24 hour response time ; supporting employees with any pay-related queries.- Support all relevant Finance/Accounting teams with reconciliations or general Payroll queries by maintaining an accurate General Ledger journal entries (salaries, pension, taxes, and social security) into Oracle financials at a company and employee level.- File and label all confidential correspondence in ‘Box’ accordance with Data Security legal requirements and company policies whilst maintaining WFS Documentation retention policies.- Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.- Ability to articulate complicated information to non-Payroll experts.- Mentors, coaches, and develops employees through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, communication of policies and rules, and constructive discipline; builds morale and motivation; enabling high level of retention within the team.- Lead continuous process improvements by utilizing new and existing technologies (i.e., automation and robotics)

Qualifications:
- Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification- 5-6 years experience in Payroll is essential- Advanced knowledge of English language is essential- Knowledge on Safeguard, ADP Streamline, ADP Expert and WORKDAY systems highly desirable- International experience is preferable- Previous experience with leading team members- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong planning and organizational skills- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills- Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies
