**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

Wind River Systems is seeking an experienced high-performing software engineer for a position validating a cloud-based platform that spans across all products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create test cases to perform functional testing over critical business features.
- Analyze, create, and report defects that can help improve quality on features and development projects.
- Root cause analysis (review logs, investigate failure to root cause, query data bases, sniff network traffic).

**ABOUT YOU**

**Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success**
- Experience as a software developer in test or a quality assurance engineer.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members.
- The ability to work autonomously and support other test engineers.
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases.
- Experience in bug creation and reporting.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Rest Assured, Python Scripting, WebDriverIo, or Cypress is required.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Lean Methodologies.
- Experience with third party tools and providers: Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

**Qualifications**

BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience.
