We are looking for a** Principal Atlassian Developer** to join the team at Modus Create.

**About You**

**Experience: Principal**

**[In reference to requisitions 1767]**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop custom apps and solutions for Atlassian products, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Cloud, and/or Confluence.
- Architecture and implementation of solutions adhering to best practices within the Atlassian ecosystem.
- Lead and collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers, designers, DevOps, and clients, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Stay current with Atlassian product updates and best practices to optimize client configurations.
- Use Agile methodologies effectively in project management and execution.
- Consult with clients and internal teams on process improvements and delivery strategies.
- Translate client needs into clear requirements and actionable project plans.
- Led, mentored, and coached both client and internal team members remotely.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience developing apps for Atlassian products (Forge, Atlassian Connect).
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies, including Node.js and React, demonstrating robust front-end and back-end development skills for creating dynamic, efficient, and scalable Atlassian app solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with Atlassian product APIs, indicating a strong ability to integrate, extend, and enhance Atlassian tools.
- Hands-on experience in administering or configuring Atlassian products, showcasing a practical understanding of how to tailor these tools to meet specific business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, global team environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean.
- Strong skills in communication and relationship management.
- Quick learner with the ability to understand and adapt to client-specific processes.
- At least two Atlassian certifications.
- A strong sense of leadership, with experience in mentoring and coaching team members.

Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST hours daily. In addition, reliable high speed internet is a must.
