Role: Senior Revenue Operations Analyst - Accounting

This is an opportunity to grow The Senior Revenue Analyst will be part of the Revenue Operations Team and reports to the Manager, Revenue Operations. Revenue Operations is part of a wider Revenue Accounting Team comprising 100+ people. You will enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and learning revenue accounting, system automation and reporting work E2E. What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
Primary roles will be understanding revenue accounting positions, reviews and investigations relating to system entries in accordance with company policies, revenue reporting via various tools, revenue accruals and participating in system testing for enhancements and automation.
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 3 months you will work toward completing?
- Complete onboarding trainings to familiarize yourself with the business and operations of our team
- Assume ownership of the revenue systems for day to day activities along with period end close activities
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Support period end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, Balance Sheet and Profit Loss flux analyses
- Ensure that revenue accounting position are accurately reflected into revenue system (i.e. deal structure, elements, pricing, relative allocation) and action edits in system as necessary
- Own intercompany accounting analysis and corresponding financial entries and SEC reporting
- Assist with review of various reporting and disclosure requirements for 10Q and 10K filings
- Support revenue system related inquiries and edits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical accounting and product management team on new offerings and M&A activities impacting revenue accounting automation
- Maintain system data by reviewing various revenue impact analyses (i.e. List Price review, imbalance schedule reviews, related party attributes, etc)
- Subject matter expert for revenue reporting tool (SAP BI) used by global revenue team to assist with reporting needs
- Review the work of RevStream (revenue system) Checklist Preparer’s timely to meet SOX deadlines
- Support revenue system (RevStream 5x) testing cycles for new functionalities, upgrades and enhancements
- Work closely with IT and BTA team to resolve system related matters
