Sr. QA Engineer

The Senior QA Engineer - Salesforce require the competencies of a Sr. QA Engineer in understanding the business requirements and that the developed products meet the design specifications, a Technical QA engineer in creating the test strategy by understanding how technology has been used to address the business use cases, a Automation QA Engineer to understand & build test automation framework & scripts and a Senior QA Engineer to effectively manage a team.

The Senior QA Engineer - Salesforce will work on a range of data and technology projects that focus on Lead to Cash systems and processes. The Senior QA Engineer will also work on highly visible roadmap programs and acquisition integration projects. The Senior QA Engineer will report to an Assistant Vice President and will work closely with business Analysts, software developers, solution architects, testers and DevOps engineers.
- Analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, build and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results.
- Perform functional, smoke, integrations, data migration and regression testing.
- Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specifications and have sufficient test coverage
- Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects - attending scrum review meetings and develop targeted test plans and cases.
- Helping define and roll out improvements to testing and quality processes across
- Work towards more efficient ways of testing using the best tools/methodologies.
- Oversee a small team of testers to guide on best practices for QA, track progress for automated and manual testing.
- Defect management by conducting Defect triages for troubleshooting and investigating nonconformance and address the issues with accuracy with various teams until closure.
- Develop stakeholder communications, progress reports, and presentations.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, software engineers, testers, project managers, and architects.
- Develop test automation scripts and framework to automate repetitive tasks and minimize manual testing.
- Coaches, mentors, and trains QA team member(s)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. Salesforce Administration Certification is desirable.
- Minimum 7 years as a QA Engineer or Senior QA Engineer for CRM implementations and technical integrations, with a proven track record of interfacing with multiple teams of the organization.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in JIRA as a Senior QA Engineer.
- Minimum 2+ year of Salesforce Lightning experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of Selenium test automation experience.
- Strong knowledge in developing automated test scripts and setting up best practices tools, frameworks, process etc.
- Knowledge of CPQ implementation in Salesforce is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Integration and Data driven testing is highly desirable.
- Strong Knowledge of SOQL & SQL data query languages is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to be both an individual contributor and a team leader.
- Excellent problem solver and independent thinker who has the ability to create innovative solutions.
- Strong communications, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to present quantitative and technical concepts to both business executives and technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodology.
- Strong Experience of working in a multi-vendor environment.
- Self-directed, adaptable, flexible, and forward thinking.
- Broad knowledge of capital markets and the role that Moody's Corporation plays within them.
