**What you’ll do**
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design and deliver software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure that software is developed according to best practices and coding standards and that it is well-documented and maintainable.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using JUnit and other testing frameworks.
- Utilize SonarQube to ensure code quality and identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Document support activities and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.

**What experience you need**
- 4+ years of experience in software development using Java 8 or higher and related technologies, focusing on Spring framework, and Spring Boot.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in GIT version control.
- 3+ years of experience proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests using JUnit or similar testing frameworks (TestNG, Mockito, Cucumber, Serenity).
- 3+ years of experience with SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Postgres and Oracle.
- 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Github for building, testing, and deploying software.
- English proficiency B2 or above

**What could set you apart?**
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Professional certifications related to Java, Spring, AWS, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
- Hands-on experience fixing top security vulnerabilities as outlined in OWASP, Fortify scans, and SonarQube.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in Java build & dependency management using Maven, and Nexus.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with cloud services like (AWS/GCP)
