**About the Role**:
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced, senior level System Administrator to support projects within Windows System Management of IS Operations. This position requires a strong foundation of technical skills in a Microsoft Windows Desktop Environment coupled with a strategic mindset, ability to collaborate with others and effective communication skills.

**Your Responsibilities Include**:

- Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting of complex laptop\desktop issues for root cause and recommended solution
- Mentorship of less experienced resources - Endpoint Compute System Administrators Levels 1 and 2 along with contractors and other support staff
- Provide translation of business requirements into technical designs for end user computing initiatives
- Develop and implement process automation via PowerShell
- Demonstrates technical leadership by staying current on new technologies
- Maintains up to date knowledge on the most recent scripting, packaging, and endpoint client management technologies and evaluates vendor products by reviewing white papers, attending conferences and vendor demonstrations
- Maintains collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security), and software vendors, as needed
- Implements continuous improvements (upgrades and patches) to ensure the environment is preventively maintained, running properly and protected from computer viruses and/or other security threats
- Interacts with users and other IS teams to accommodate requests for services
- Creates and maintains all required technical documentation per IS methodology and processes
- Leads trouble shooting initiatives and resolves failures by analyzing issues and implementing corrective actions. Leads root cause analysis and takes measures to address root cause analysis findings
- Leads project work stream activities, working with internal and external cross-functional groups
- Adheres to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Licenciature: Systems Engineers or related field.
- English Level required: B2+:80-89%
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position.
