Job Summary

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Be the technical lead on projects for all technical end-to-end phases including managing the proposal, design, development, and implementation of system solutions.
- Evaluates requirements, identifies timelines, and defines a technical plan to ensure plan supports business goals and that project objectives and deadlines are met.
- Implements an effective data layer including acquisition, architecture, integration, accuracy, and calculations from various resources. Information from internal and external sources will surround markets, products, customers, and geographies.
- Automates data retrieval, data processing, and tool integration.
- Handles a wide variety of non-routine and difficult inquiries where the solution is not immediately apparent. Complex problem solving may require developing solutions for diverse issues that may be interrelated, requiring significant interpretation and the use of strong technical skills.
- Troubleshoots the most complex technical problems to resolve user issues.
- Studies existing systems to evaluate effectiveness.
- Considers the impact of any changes on current systems and develops risk analysis.
- Stays abreast of the latest developments and changing technology in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Provides training and support on Data Analytics solutions (other developers/end users).
- Answers non senior developers’ questions and issues. Oversees work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints.
- Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.

General Qualifications/Experience:

- IT Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics end to end solutions (back end & front end)
- Proficient knowledge and experience with data analytics theories and practices
- Proficient in transact SQL language and relational databases
- Proficient integrating multiple data sources (such as Snowflake/HANA/Teradata/Azure Data Lakes/SQL Server)
- Strong experience in Power BI (Data modeling and Data Visualization)
- Strong experience optimizing SQL queries, views, cluster data, performance improvement, reports
- Strong experience with multiple technical security layers
- Work experience as Python developer, writing effective and scalable code
- Interested in continued learning of businesses processes, business data and new tools/architectures
- Experience working with all business users’ levels
- Must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task is inherent in the job responsibilities
- Ability to work within team is inherent in the job responsibilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills in Spanish and English
- Must be able to travel internationally if needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Data Analytics/Data Science
- Data Engineering Architecture (such as Snowflake clustering, store procedures, views, schemas)
- Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Flow
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks
- Experience in Agile Framework using tools such as JIRA
- Experience with machine learning
- Healthcare Business Knowledge
