Sr. Developer Community Pm

The Creator Platform & Experiences (CPE) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager for our Developer Community team who is passionate about growing the global community of developers building for the Xbox series of devices and the Cloud. This person will be the internal champion for our globalization efforts related to game developer facing tools and documentation and enable workflows to enable efficient and accessible content distribution for global creators.

This is a highly visible and impactful role which requires strong leadership, process orientation, drive for results and communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage regular delivery of high-quality localized game developer facing artifacts including technical SDK documentation, white papers and other technical presentations, and News and Announcements.
- Continuously improve the quality of our developer facing content leveraging translation specialists to audit and your process to track and resolve issues.
- Build programs and processes to support the global expansion efforts for teams across Xbox.
- Drive creation of programs to embrace all creators and developers.
- Create regionally specific learning resources in partnership with the broader Xbox organization.
- Partner with the broader program management team to maintain and enhance existing repositories and localization pipelines.
- Support the team in establishing standards and continuously improving the processes for localizing content. Extend this across planning, creation, and release.
- Drive enhancements to global developer content based on developer feedback using an agile methodology.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap.
- Utilize data and analytics to update strategy and process.

**Qualifications**:

- A BS/BA degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Game Design, AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience working with broad content sets of technical information.
- 2+ years of experience working with Git based repositories.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with localization of technical documentation.
- Experience in open source or another public community is highly preferred but not essential.
- Game industry and agile software development experience is highly preferred, but not essential.
- Working directly with and managing vendors.
