* Bachelors’ degree in Business, Finance, Accounting Marketing, Operations or Information Management
- 3+ years of professional experience, preferably as a Data Analyst
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Access and Excel
- Data warrior who understands data and is able to detect patterns, relationships and data-related anomalies
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoy working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and eCommerce, and offers advertisers a rich array of media solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices including Kindle and Fire TV, and the Amazon Programmatic Demand Side Platform.

We are looking for a highly motivated Self-Service Business Operational Analyst who is passionate about working with data to help identify advertisers who can benefit from Creative Specialist support, while also producing timely operational reports to quantify the Creative Specialist team’s effort and impact.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop expertise in topics related creative rejections by working extensively with the Creative Rejection Search & Rescue Team
- Work with the Business Intelligence, Moderation, Salesforce & other internal teams to source data for analysis
- Utilize data-driven & metrics-based analysis to identify advertisers for support and manage the advertiser and creative specialist pipelines to ensure that support capacity is optimally utilized
- Deliver monthly, quarterly (and ad-hoc) reports that quantify the level of operations effort and the advertiser impact

A day in the life

- Familiarity with SQL and Salesforce (or other CRM tool) and Business Intelligence tools will be a plus
- Adaptable and quick to learn new skills, processes and tools, demonstrating strong technical/operational capabilities
- Experience addressing requests for information in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service judgement with high commitment to customer success
- Experience working cross-functionally and with employees with different skill sets
