This role will be part of a bigger team called Data Governance & Data Operations (DG&DO), which is a vibrant & highly motivated group that collaborates across different data domains working together towards building governance processes and tools that make our data better while also supporting the business in managing the master data across Finance, HR, Marketing, Vendor, Customer and Supply Chain Domains.

Today, we’re looking for a **Data Catalog & Governance Manager. **You will report to the Enterprise Data Catalog Product Owner and together you will be working with a broad array of teams to support the creation and execution of a clear strategy that will provide our associates and teams the right processes, tools, capabilities, taxonomy, roles, and ways of working to make The Coca-Cola Company vision of a Self-Service Data Platform and Data as a Product become reality.

**What You’ll Do for Us**
- Bring with you a fundamental understanding of data governance best practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data management and cataloguing.
- Support the Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) Product Owner in the planning, roll out and management of the EDC and governing the data onboarding and governance process.
- Coordinate the administration of metadata repository containing business terms, critical data elements, and technical metadata.
- Define and execute tactical enhancements based on business needs and overall metadata management strategy.
- Manage the automated collection of technical metadata and drive engagement and adoption of the capturing of associated business glossary data and EDC curation.
- Promote the value of the solution and drive adoption by the data stewardship community, engaging both data producers and data consumers, to access the data catalog, and to build out the business glossary.
- Mentor the data consumer community to help disseminate the value of data governance, data management, and data cataloging.
- Develop the necessary training and tutorials, provide presentations to potential users on how to best leverage the data catalog
- Create & maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), standards, and other artifacts to assure ongoing applicability of an agile and contemporary data cataloging and curation program.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Master’s Degree is a plus
- 2+ years of experience with Data catalog or taxonomy tools and platforms (like Alation, Collibra, Informatica)
- 3+ years of data management experience, including one or more of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Analysis, Data Architecture, Data Security, Data Cataloging and Master Data Management
- Microsoft Azure Platform Experience, Including Microsoft DevOps
- Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Ability to recognize business needs, limitations with existing products/platforms to meet those needs and providing creative solutions to advance data governance/catalog maturity.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills within teams and groups
- Ability to manage through ambiguity as well as lead change
- Ability to work in teams across a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills to effectively influence upward and downward across the organization.
- Strong analytical skills, experience gathering business requirements, analyzing, defining, and documenting business processes and data flows.
- Following experience **is a plus**
- Understanding and experience of data architecture, including data warehousing, data lakes, data mesh, and graph/semantic modeling
- Experience using advanced tools for data analysis (like SQL or Alteryx)
- Experience in data mining, efficient in navigating complex DB repositories-
- Understanding of networking and security solutions, both hardware and SaaS/software
