**Position summary**:
The inventory accounting team is part of the Finance Operations Group, who support the divisional business units in a variety of complex accounting areas, including inventory accounting, enterprise accounting, product costing, master data stewardship, planning & reporting, finance systems, and other complex accounting areas. The Lead Analyst, Inventory Accounting will be responsible for executing the transactional accounting processes, for nominated divisions, to ensure the financial statements are complete, accurate and in compliance with Stryker accounting policies. They will also work closely with the Associate Finance Manager in communicating with the business units on resolving any operational challenges, continuous improvement to the inventory processes and supporting project work that may arise from time to time.

**What you will do**:

- Assist in all financial related matters related to day to day operations and scaling of the Inventory COE
- Support SAP system configuration, testing, and wave deployments on behalf of the Inventory COE
- Assist in scoping and implementation of required reporting from SAP BW
- Support integration projects for business transfers into the COE - includes workstream meetings, systems and inventory cutovers, inventory adjustments, etc.
- Prepare process documentation and assist the leadership team to migrate inventory processes into the COE.
- As requested, perform ad-hoc analysis and perform special projects for Senior Leadership
- Perform financial review of all CER and DAR requests
- Prepare month-end journal entries and formulate required accruals in accordance with GAAP
- Maintain balance sheet accounts associated with the Inventory COE to include gross and net accounts and complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance Stryker policies
- Calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory reserves for period close
- Ensure all Inventory reports generated by SAP are accurate, complete, and reconcile to the General Ledger.

**What you need**:

- 4+ years’ experience in Audit, Accounting, or Finance (must have), with 2 years in inventory or supply chain.
- Inventory / Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with Excel (must have)
- Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana and SAP BW (must have)
- Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
- Fluency in English required
- Effective problem-solving skills
