The Senior Inventory Analyst is an extension of the Commercial Division and works closely with In-Market finance contacts to resolve discrepancies, issues, and queries in a timely manner. This person will ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.

**What you will do**:
Maintain balance sheet and P&L accounts associated with the Inventory transactions to include gross and net values and complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance Stryker policies. This includes making sure that ERP subledger data is accurate, complete, and reconciles to the General Ledger

Performs Inventory accounting activities including but not limited to calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory related accounts for period end close, JE preparation for recurring entries in accordance with GAAP and perform financial review of DAR requests.

Create and maintain documentation of processes and procedures. Assist the leadership team to migrate inventory processes into the COE.

Support on coordination for closing and other key deliverables assigned by Associate Manager or Lead analyst

Support ERP change requests, configuration, testing, and system deployments on behalf of the Inventory COE. This also includes supporting integration projects for business transfers into the COE which includes workstream meetings, systems and inventory cutovers, inventory adjustments, etc.

Responsible to execute assigned SOX controls and other activities related to internal and external audit requirements. Supports ad-hoc tasks and requests as needed.

Education & special trainings:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Intermediate level: PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, charts, formulas, etc.)
- English level B2
- ERP systems knowledge is a plus (Oracle, JDE, SAP)

Qualifications & experience:

- 2+ years’ experience in Accounting, or Finance (must have)
- Would be considered a plus if 2+ years in inventory or supply chain or Inventory / Manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX is a plus
- Fluency in English required (B2)

- Strong skills to review and approve journal entries and reconciliations are critical
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers, and cross-functionally within the company
- Ability to work independently and multi-tasking
- Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
- Detail oriented, versatile, highly motivated, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively
- Flexibility in scheduling due to business requirements (i.e., month-end close)
