**What You Will Do**
- Assist in all financial-related matters related to establishing and scaling the Inventory COE.
- Support SAP system configuration, testing, and wave deployments on behalf of the Inventory COE.
- Assist in scoping and implementation of required reporting from SAP BW.
- Support integration projects for business transfers into the COE - includes workstream meetings, systems, inventory cutovers, standard cost updates, inventory adjustments, etc.
- Prepare process documentation and assist the leadership team to migrate inventory processes into the new COE.
- As requested, perform ad-hoc analysis and perform special projects for Senior Leadership.
- Perform financial review of all CER and DAR requests.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and formulate required accruals in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain balance sheet accounts associated with the Inventory COE to include gross and net accounts and complete balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with Stryker policies.
- Lead and manage the annual budgeting process and monthly financial projection process for Inventory and Reserves.
- Ensure all Company policies are adhered to within the COE. Responsible for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other applicable financial laws and regulations, company policies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Partner with the local supply planning team to drive accurate FG supply forecasts and collaborate on inventory reduction programs
- Calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory reserves for the period close.
- Support business on implementation and monitoring of Internal Controls and other Compliance requirements.
- Ensure all Inventory reports generated by SAP are accurate, complete, and reconcile to General Ledger.
- Responsible for the setting of standard costs for all products in the COE as prescribed by the standard cost policy.
- Implement and validate product cost updates and financial statement impact.
- Coordinate and manage Budget and Forecast input, validation, and review.

**What you need**

Education & special training:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: Required
- CPA: Preferred

Qualifications & experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in a finance function in a matrix international company (preferably an American or Multinational company)
- Inventory Accounting experience preferred
- Inventory Accounting experience is a plus
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (required).
- Proficiency with Oracle, SAP S4 Hana, and/or SAP BW (required)
- Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
- Fluency in English required
- Strong ability to coordinate action across the dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization
- Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
- Effective problem-solving skills
