**DESCRIPTION**

**Job summary**

AWSLOC translates an approximate amount of 3 billion words yearly for 43 languages (including different language flavors). We deal with 24 different asset types and support around 50 teams across AWS. As part of this process, we work with five different vendors to translate our content. To support this large scope, AWSLOC needs to develop a scalable training program to support quality improvement across languages, assets, teams and vendors. The creation of training, knowledge checks and reference materials can help support the growing need to translate more content while maintaining quality. Training can support the standardization of localization best practices, align the services provided by the vendors with our strategic goals, and measure results.

**Key Job Responsibilities**

- Pursue a deep understanding of localization to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of global learners.
- Perform training analysis to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
- Review, update and adapt as needed the knowledge management content based on each audience needs.
- Implement content in LMS and Content Management systems
- Ensure training KPI's are reviewed and reported on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and perform analysis on any behaviors / processes that could impact on data integrity
- Create, organize, maintain and manage product training curricula in the LMS
- Provide support for SMEs to facilitate virtual instructor-led training

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- Expertise in planning, implementing and assessing training
- Demonstrated working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or Flash
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials in all modalities, including ILT, e-learning, video, motion design
- Knowledge of adult learning methodology and training practices
- Understanding of industry learning trends and best practices, adult learning theory, and instructional design principles
- Solid project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and delivering results
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Exposure to Learning Management System

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience with localization processes
- Experience in working on multiple projects with stakeholders
- Experience using learning data to perform continuous improvement
- Proven ability to think creatively and contribute to process simplification/improvement at a team level
- Demonstrated adult learning implementation and driving performance through impactful training
- Experience explaining complex topics to a novice audience
