Riverpoint Medical is hiring a **Production Supervisor **for our new site in Costa Rica**. **At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices. Our ingenuity can be found in our suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies. The Riverpoint Medical **Production Supervisor** will work closely with the Production Manager to coordinate the manufacturing process for production.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee production schedule; monitor all projects.
- Monitor production to resolve issues, handle maintenance work when necessary.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
- Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels.
- Monitor production activities and adjust schedules for on-time delivery.
- Ensure final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Investigate production issues and develop resolutions.
- Lean manufacturing and strong ability for problem solving.

**Education and Qualifications**
- 5+ years’ experience in medical device manufacturing
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
- Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement a strong plus
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Line balancing and resource planning experience a strong plus
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field
