**Job Description**:
We are looking for a talented and motivated professional who wants to dive into big data analytics projects to ensure quality and best practices to solve complicated customer problems.
The Quality Assurance (QA) engineer will manage exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will design and implement tests٫ debug and define corrective actions٫ review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect counts). You should monitor all stages of software development as well as production systems to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. We expect you to be able to build consistent and efficient tests delivering them in-time.
You should also hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems. This position will work with many different product data sets which are integral to US health care systems.

**What you´ll do**:

- Prepare detailed٫ comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Monitor production systems to identify on-going problems and assist in troubleshooting and discovery of root causes.
- Review requirements٫ specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Plan and coordinate testing activities٫ thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs
- Build and execute automation scripts
- Organize testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Review debugging process results
- Track and develop system health and development quality assurance metrics
- Analyze the causes of non-conforming software and assist fellow developers to implement solutions
- Maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies
- Exploring and learning big data technologies ranging from Azure Synapse Analytics to Hadoop data lakes with Tableau and tied together with SQL and Python.

**Qualifications**:
**What your background looks like**:

- Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language (python, Java, C#, etc.)
- 2+ years' experience in a QA Engineer or Software Engineer position
- Experience writing clear٫ concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience working in software development teams and using software QA methodologies and tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles

Beneficial skills:

- Database experience, including writing stored procedures and complex SQL queries
- Experience with white box and black box testing preferred
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Experience with performance and/or security testing will be a bonus
- Experience with Tableau is a plus
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science٫ Engineering or other related area
