Position Purpose: Supports the Corporate Accounting department along with the International channel. Provides technical accounting expertise (based on U.S. GAAP) and supports the month-end close process. Manages receivables and accounting for the Canada business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare, maintain and administer Accounting department SOPs- Provide technical accounting guidance based on U.S. GAAP- Support month-end close process through journal entry preparation, analysis and preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations- Manage Canadian duty receivable by preparing the monthly filing, providing audit back-up to Canadian Customs, monitoring/reconciling payments and reconciling the receivable balance- Manage Borderfree (third party) receivable and accounting in support of the Canadian fixed price website- Provide back-up support as needed within the Corporate Accounting department

Education Level: 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field an/or relevant experience
Years of Experience: 5+
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP- Expert level knowledge of financial systems; SAP experience preferred- Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal)- Strong follow-up skills- High level of accountability for accuracy/meeting deadlines- Strong data analysis skills - ability to use query tools and manipulate data in Excel- Ability to juggle multiple requests and deadlines
