**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Experienced - Non-Management Level

**FUNCTION**: DBS - GBS Finance

**SALARY RANGE**:Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits + Market Leading Bonus

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of GBS Finance. The role is responsible for maintain control, quality, and execution standards of the processes under your responsibility, such as fixed assets, GL (general ledger) or bank reconciliation.

**Reports to**:Transactional Finance Manager

**Reporting Level**:Mid - Senior Level

**Geographic Scope**:Americas

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Daily Management of the General Ledger/Bank Reconciliations /Fixed Assets Analysts within the Centre.
- Review raised issues and resolve in a timely manner.
- Prepare reports as per agreed timeline to allow end markets review and analysis.
- Oversee general ledger accounts reconciliations within the function and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor month-end activities ensuring accurately, and period is closed as per agreed timetable.
- Review established workflow and identify areas for improvement and escalate. Likewise, develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
- Communicate with customers by solving issues, providing guidance, and promoting a customer focused culture.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Do you have previous experience working in a Shared Services industry or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment?
- Do you have strong knowledge of accounting and finance?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Student or graduated in business administration, accounting, finance, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ / C1).
- High proficiency and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Power Point.
- Individual with a high sense of urgency and communication skills.
- Accuracy and time management skills.
- Excellent organization skills.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Portuguese language.
- Knowledge in Power BI.
- Knowledge in transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
