**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will be based in Wind River's Costa Rica Office in San Jose.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycle, by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
- Perform monthly account analyses and reconciliations of various balance sheet and expense accounts.
- Support monthly general ledger accounting processes including treasury accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with USGAAP and company policy.
- Contribute to the monthly consolidation and reporting processes, financial statement preparation, and success of all the team’s deliverables, as required.
- Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with a solid knowledge of GAAP, general ledger structure, and financial statements.
- At least three years of experience in accounting.
- Advanced English level.
- Office Suite knowledge including Advanced Excel and strong data management skills.
- Significant attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrating a sense of urgency and should be results-driven.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse accounting team in a dynamic environment, contributing to a positive team culture that values open communication, feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders; constructive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task, work independently, and execute objectives without supervision.
- Understanding of treasury accounting, fixed asset accounting, lease accounting and consolidations is preferred.
- Oracle R12 experience strongly preferred.
