**Role** **profile**

**JOB TITLE**: R2R Team Leader

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**SUB FUNCTION**: Record to Report

**CITY & COUNTRY**: Heredia, Costa Rica

**Role summary**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**
- Daily Management of the General Ledger.
- Review established workflow and identify areas for improvement and call out.
- Review raised issues and resolve in a timely manner.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports on the agreed timeline to allow end markets review and analysis.
- Be responsible for general ledger accounts reconciliations within the function and ensure accuracy.
- Supervise month-end activities ensuring accurately and period is closed as per agreed timetable.
- Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
- Ensure accuracy and timely execution of SOX controls.
- Connect with partners by solving issues, providing mentorship, and promoting a customer focused culture.
- Chip in to improvement initiatives.

**Accountabilities**
- Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end markets.
- Critical metrics are met, and differences are handled effectively.
- Issues are brought up following partner concern process.
- Processes are adhered to RACM and Internal Controls.
- Achieved a high degree customer happiness at year end.
- Continuous Improvement initiatives and quantify benefits once implemented.

**Experience, skills, knowledge**

**Experience Required**
- 4+ years of validated experience in a multinational company.
- Knowledge of statutory and management accounting principles for the countries within AMER is an advantage.
- Strong accounting knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory, Management and other relevant reporting.

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- MS Office - Medium/Advanced level.
- Coordinate and plan activities by using time efficiently.
- Prioritize and give transparency on the workload in a given time.
- Capable of backing up any role within the team.
- Understand responsibility and capable of making decisions.
- Connect with peers, managers and partners efficiently.
- Handle time and identify time constraints to be brought up for resolution.
- Develop and propose new ways of working to improve processes.

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- University degree - Bachelor’s in Accounting.
- English - B2.

**Beneficial**
- Knowledge in transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
- Shared service center experience.
