We do it with a spirit of inclusion and trust acting as 'One VMware' to help our customers win. **_ Success in the Role:_** What are the performance outcomes over the first 3-6 months you will work toward completing? - First 30 days of employment: Become familiar with VMware CIBG Product portfolio, GTM Strategy, Industry & Market position, Cloud Economics, VMware Cloud Solutions, Analysis Models, Messaging and Positioning - First 60 days: Familiarize yourself with key members of the team, primary cross-functional groups, high priority initiatives, and become comfortable with internal tools, Cloud Economics brand and message, and contribute to the development of the next-generation messaging. - First 180 days: Enhance and develop the Cloud Economics messaging and enablement deliverables. Start executing on the Cloud Economics roadmap with model support, sales enablement, and scaling Cloud Economics into an “as-a-Service” process. **_ The Work:_** What type of work will you be doing? Our team is looking for someone to refine and promote the Value (Total Cost of Ownership/Return on Investment models) for VMware Cloud products like VMware Cloud on AWS, Google Cloud VMware Environment, and more. We are seeking a Sr. Product Market Analyst of Cloud Economics to join a team of innovators to visualize and create the next generation of leading-edge value concepts, marketing and tools to communicate our customer-centric value and compelling stories. As part of the Product Market Strategy team, you will collaborate with the team to refine and support the existing models, develop improvements and new functionality. You will also be responsible for helping create and enhance the messaging for our models, acting as a cloud economics evangelist internally and externally to drive adoption and higher sales collaboration. **_ Responsibilities of the Sr. Product Portfolio Analyst, Cloud Economics include, but are not limited to, the following:_** - Create a rich catalog of content that demonstrates the unique value and TCO of the VMware Cloud product suite and multi-cloud offerings across a variety of mediums. - Learn the structure of the VMware Multi-Cloud model and provide maintenance and support. - Work with other members of the team to collaborate with VMware Sales, BD, Marketing, and Product teams to drive proactive of ROI/economic conversations with our customers. - Help Develop a standard cloud ROI framework and analytics model to be used by VMware Sales, BD, and marketing teams. - Develop a Value and TCO models that can be used as a demand generation asset. - Develop content to effectively communicate the economic benefits of running workloads in the cloud when compared to a traditional data center environment and native public cloud environments. **Required Knowledge & Skills**: - 5-10 years of experience in Finance and/or Product Management/Marketing - Expertise with Excel creating and maintaining financial models - Intellectual curiosity & willingness to take ownership in business partnering - Ability to work independently, within a rapidly growing & evolving environment - Experience in infrastructure and software companies work
