**PROCESS SUSTAINING ENGINEER 1**: - Experience Level: Recent College Grad- Job Type: Full-Time- Location: Costa Rica - San Jose, CR- Requisition ID: 5028**Nature of the position**: Execution of professional technical tasks related to the development, implementation and maintenance of the assembly processes of microelectronic circuits used in the manufacture of technology components, and the necessary aspects to ensure effective control over the process. **Main tasks and responsibilities**: Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of assembly processes for microelectronic circuits used in the manufacture of SAW and BAW, UBAW, SMT technology components. Provide technical support to production in relation to the solution of various manufacturing problems. Maintain effective control over the process, ensuring the detection, analysis and correction of possible defects in the machines and the production process. Assist in the development, characterization and implementation of new processes and materials in production. Review, under limited supervision, the process methods and techniques, modify and improve the process, and define the process and equipment requirements and specifications used in the manufacture and evaluation of SAW and BAW, UBAW, SMT, devices. Review product requirements with the product and/or design department, to ensure full compatibility with process procedures. Conduct experiments and compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process and material specifications. Keep the specifications of the process materials in perfect order, carry out their analysis and report to production, quality and any other interested department any change or modification generated. Participate in programs for process optimization, yield improvements, cost reduction and improvements in the manufacturing process. Compile records and statistics of the process that contribute to a constant improvement in the process, providing extensive and updated information on fluctuations and trends in terms of: "Scrap", "Yields", Rejections / operation. Analyze the problems inherent to the processes, instituting corrective measures and formulating procedures that ensure the conformity of the processes with the established norms. The purpose is to keep the process under control and the product within the performance and quality expectations of the clients. Prepare and maintain process specifications, so that there is clarity as to how the product should be produced and evaluated. Develop and promote new process techniques to be implemented in the production department. When necessary, work together with the different departments involved in the manufacturing process, to establish improvements, studies or corrections to the process. Coordinate with the quality department the implementation and development of statistical process control programs. Participate in the introduction of new products to the process. Develop the required manufacturing techniques together with the production department.
