Our Program Managers lead strategic programs and initiatives across the division. We align product, engineering, and business teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. We relied upon by leaders across the organization to execute on critical programs with high business impact.

Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. Responsible for leading projects, developing processes that enable to measure and improve performance resulting in customer satisfaction.

As a Technical Program Manager Senior, you will be responsible for:

- Planning and organizing programs at the organization level, across multiple groups. Defining technical programs, identifying success criteria and compliance metrics
- Creating clarity in requirements, build relationships with partner teams, embrace agility, design features to drive business objectives
- Identifying, assessing, mitigating risks arising from variety of situations including those that arise from dependencies between groups
- Managing teams and partner closely with Engineering, Product Management and Network Operations to deploy roadmap solutions
- Leading the Product Process for various products and solutions, including leadership of the full software development lifecycle.
- Creating well-crafted messages to build consensus and/or enhance collaboration both inside and outside of the division
- Working with tooling teams to implement new or updated tools in support of team or business processes

To be successful in this role you will:

- Demonstrate Project management experience to deliver technical projects successfully
- Have proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget while communicating with key senior leaders
- Have experience in Identifying and managing project dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestone
- Have organizational skills and work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse client environment
- Have experience with business process, operations, and metric definition best practices
- Be able to analyze workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders of varying technical ability
