Marketing Specialist will support a Marketing Manager to execute traditional and online plans to drive customer awareness and adoption of VMware products and solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support traditional and online strategic plans based on business goals, objectives, and specific audiences.
- Manage digital marketing tools to optimize web presence for VMware products and customers.
- Compile actionable metrics report with SiteCatalyst and social media platforms to monitor engagement, growth and trends and share with teams across the business.
- Assist in executing SEO strategies and best practices for the website and improve natural search.
- Work closely with the larger marketing organization to determine and execute awareness programs.
- Create and drive innovative initiatives to drive the fast proliferation of VMware products and solutions.

Qualifications:

- BA/BS.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to translate technology features into business benefits.
- Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions.
- Self-starter, problem-solver and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment.
- Work experience in web, product management, product marketing, or equivalent experience in the enterprise software technology industry a plus.
- Prior experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst or similar industry-standard metrics package a plus.
- Prior experience of implementing SEO strategies and experience measure success of SEO campaigns a plus.
