**FUNCTION**: Finance

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of Procure to Pay.

The role is responsible for:

- Process the ad-hoc requirements related to AP process.
- Complete the critical metrics follow during the month.
- Ensures all AP processes and internal controls are followed.
- Define, build, and analyse Account Payable reports.
- Review and adjust workload allocation to ensure timely processing of invoices.
- Coordinate month/quarter/year end activities to ensure completion of close activities on time.
- Serve as customer concern path to resolve accounts payable issues.
- Own the team and be a key resource, directly supervising a team member.
- Meets with involved parties, other departments personnel, addressing or sophisticated accounts payable issues.
- Provide support and help to EM and internal involved parties on all accounts payable related topics.
- Measure critical metrics to assess team performance and report achievements or deficiencies to the AP process.
- Maintain training and develop Accounts Payable team.
- Build and preform annual reviews of Accounts Payable team members.

**Geographic Scope**:Americas

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end markets.
- Critical metrics are met and differences are handled effectively.
- Issues are brought up following customer concern process.
- Processes are adhered to RACM and Internal Controls.
- Achieved a high degree customer happiness at year end.
- Continuous Improvement initiatives and quantify benefits once implemented.
- Trainings and development plans are reviewed constantly.
- Review performance and people objectives twice a year to develop your business and leadership capabilities.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**

Are you proficient in Portuguese? Do you have experience in the P2P process?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- At least 2 years of experience in P2P processes
- Experience supervising and leading teams.
- Medium/Advanced knowledge in transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
- MS Office - Medium/Advanced.
- MS PowerPoint - Medium level of knowledge.
- Coordinate and plan activities by using time efficiently.
- Technical Degree in accounting or finance background accounting or business administration
- English and Portuguese proficiency.
