Demand Planning Specialist (Aruba Networks)

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating demand management, forecast creation and related business processes. Partners with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement to effectively manage costs, integrate new and existing businesses, and adapt to changes in the industry and regulatory environment. Time horizon is typically eighteen to twenty four months of forecasting/planning. Leading and working with cross-functional teams enables the execution of business strategies. Participates in the processes in which demand signals are developed, making sure that the plan aligns with Finance and Sales expectations. Scope includes business execution processes related to lifecycle planning NPI, Sustaining products and End of Sale projects. Works cross-functionally to develop, track and manage business metrics for the organization (MAPE, Bias and Volatility).

**In a typical day as a Demand Planning Specialist (Aruba Networks), you would**:

- Manage a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as forecasting based on historical information, sell-in and sell-out analysis and planning, inventory levels, among others.
- Execute demand planning activities, identifying issues and correcting them to minimize the impact.
- Gather demand data from multiple sources to synthesize information using complex analysis, and delivers demand signals to ensure the supply is on time.
- Review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and develops recommendations.
- Contribute to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
- Mentor junior-level staff.
- Maintenance of business tools and team reports that are critical for day-to-day activities.

**If you are**
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
- ** Typically 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain function.**
- End to end knowledge of supply chain processes and impact of forecast outcome to inventory, supply and backlog/shortages.
- ** Strong analytical and data modeling skills** (statistical forecasting models).
- Strong communication and influencing skills; **mastery in English **and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Statistical analysis and financial modeling.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of S&OP process and its impact to Demand Planning.
- Power BI and IBP knowledge is a plus.
