As a Costa Rica Risk and Controls manager you will provide leadership in enabling the risk management systems of the organization. This would include risk assessment with focus on ethics and controls, the annual risk mapping process, development and implementation of mitigation and preventive plans, IP and privacy protection, supplier compliance, and employee awareness and training initiatives. The person is expected to partner and engage with site, regional and global stakeholders for both scopes. The person is also expected to develop and facilitate relevant organization and site-level communications. This is a hybrid role based on the Future of the Workplace model.
**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:
- Helping shape the charter and imperatives of the Risk and Controls team, defining specific initiatives and coaching others to deliver to those imperatives.
- Supervising the day-to-day activities of the Risk and Controls program to ensure key tasks are executed flawlessly.
- Partner with both Asia and local Compliance teams to help implement Intel's Code of Conduct, as well as various internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls and business processes are in place to protect the assets of the corporation.
- Implement, track and control Asset Management program from Corporate Services in collaboration with Site Governance Structure, leading and alignment efforts with third party suppliers associated to Corporate Services Account.
- Update BCP documentation when major changes occur (new supplier, changes to scope, etc.).Conduct annual Risk Assessment process.
- Ensuring CS Assets are properly inventoried throughout the whole life cycle.
- Ensure Wellness Center equipment inventory is audited Quarterly.
- Support CR Asset Management office with government audits and project related activities.
- Active participate in the CR Asset Management compliance meeting (monthly) and KPIs review (Quarterly).Manage requests to update Industrial Roof reports.
- Ensure CS Suppliers keep updated records of their own asset inventories.
- Run program self-assessment exercises.
- Run program preparation for External and On-site audits including: Assets validation, regulations, inventories, etc..
- Support Customs officers visits to the site if needed.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience overseeing all aspects of the program, including planning, resource allocation and budget.
- 3+ years of experience on delivering on medium to large scale programs and managing multiple programs simultaneously.
- 3+ years of experience with organization planning including strategic planning and development of department level deliverables and indicators, organization development including employee experience improvement strategies, people systems, quality systems, information systems and compliance programs.
- Advanced English level.
