Job Summary:
The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting transactions and are processed efficiently and effectively, in accordance with established service levels and other contractual requirements. The individual will be responsible for related tasks associated with accounting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. Also will be responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations, will work directly with the Senior Accountant managing and resolving complex issues as well as following up on open items for the accounts assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, process, and verify bank deposits, journal entries and accounting reports.
- Verify and reconcile accounts, such as petty cash, cash clearing, and utility billings.
- Verify and reconcile accounts receivable transactions, such as utility payments, licensing and permit fees and fines.
- Prepare, verify and reconcile accounting transactions, such as purchase requisitions, invoices, and fixed assets.
- Enter financial data into appropriate accounting and computer systems.
- Maintain records and files associated with various business transactions.
- May perform back-up duties for other positions within the work group.
- Prepare documentation to support internal and external audits, as required.
- Ensure timely preparation of client service level and operational performance reports in accordance with established guidelines and client requirements.
- Will be responsible to provide follow up on open items for the account or processes assigned.
- Bring support to the Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant in daily requests.

Skills and Experience:
**General Requirements**:

- English - Spanish Language (Oral and writing 80 % or higher), (B1+ or above).
- Technical Degree in Finance or Accounting, or Student of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).

**Additional Requirements (Nice to have)**:

- Experience with US or Latin American-based Telecommunications, Consumer Products, Wholesale or Retail Distribution businesses.
- Oracle or SAP, or other Tier 1 ERP systems.
- Student of a Bachelor's degree required in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
