Your Career**

Palo Alto Networks is growing fast, and we are looking for a seasoned Back-end developer who will play a pivotal role in taking our website to the next level. The role requires somebody who will take initiative, is detail-oriented, and can handle a multi-threaded, fast-moving marketing environment.
**Your Impact**
- Implement strategies using components of the Adobe AEM platform to support multi-site, multi-channel and multi-lingual delivery environments
- Develop templates, components and client libraries for deployment in Adobe AEM
- Work with front end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks like Bootstrap and jQuery
- Create responsive marketing landing pages and microsites, for multi-language deployment
- Design and develop OSGi Service components to integrate with enterprise backend systems such as SalesForce using RESTful APIs
- Integrate AEM with other marketing products like Analytics, Target, Marketo, and also other internal products
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management solutions implementation and integrations
Ensure sound practices regarding site architecture, performance, reliability, and content delivery are in place
- Follow best practices for secure web programming, packaging and deployment
- Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit testing, automation, and continuous integration
- Collaborate with front-end developers for efficient integration with back-end componentsQualifications**
Your Experience**
- A degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of web development experience in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years of AEM experience
- Expert in developing AEM templates, components (using JSPs and HTL) and client libraries
- Good knowledge of front end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks like Bootstrap and jQuery
Expert in developing OSGi Service components
- Solid knowledge of AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, clientlibs, bundles, workflows, configurations, packaging and deployment
- Sound experience in Java and Java EE technologies, and Web technologies
- Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes
Experience in integrating AEM with enterprise backend systems and other products
- Solid experience in generating and parsing JSON and XML data formats
- Proficiency in data management with relational databases using JDBC and Apache Solr using SolrJ is a plus
- Experience in Agile methodology and iterative development
- Experience in the distributed caching using CDNs like Akamai is a plus
- Good understanding of Adobe AEM WCM capabilities including Multi-site manager and Blueprints is a plus
- Strong bias for action and ability to operate independently
- Strong communication, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Relentless attention to detail
