Job summary
As a Digital Producer you will be part of the Amazon Ads team, specifically working within Design Scaled Services (DSS), and supporting the creation of digital design campaigns for our top tier advertisers within Entertainment. This position is responsible for aligning with multiple teams and stakeholders to understand project needs, building and adhering to timelines, facilitating problem solving discussions, booking resources, obtaining approvals, communicating necessary changes, and delivering final creative all while keeping everyone touching the project informed.
This role partners with a Senior Design Manager to focus on three main areas: Project Ownership & Design Consistency, Stakeholder Management, and Business scalability.
Key job responsibilities
Project Ownership & Design Consistency:
- Understand design requirements from Amazon and the advertiser, present recommendations and negotiate on allowed treatments before cascading design execution to the team.
- Improve of design quality and consistency in the short and long term.
- Work closely with various project leads on design execution and prioritization.
- Align with designers on brand updates and assist them as needed on brand related questions.
- Maintain tracking of project or brand updates. Create and maintain Tracking system for all projects’ updates.
- Creation of design templates within Photoshop that can standardize design best practices and clarify specs as needed.
Stakeholders’ Management:
- Manage relationships with team members in marketing, product, and leadership to guarantee a smooth operational process and successful project delivery.
- Distribute approved brand guidelines or Photoshop (PSDs) to all needed groups and individuals.
- Manage projects from start-to-end by defining project scope, developing detailed project plans and milestones, managing schedules, leading communication, providing status updates, and ensuring the quality of the final assets.
- Flag capacity constraints to senior design manager & creative resource manager, and find solutions for operational opportunities.
- Manage the process of approvals and feedback to advertisers and designers.
Business scalability:
- Work towards scalable, replicable and sustainable design practices.
- Work with Senior design manager, creative campaign managers and designers on brainstorming related to process improvement (time, quality, creative opportunities, advertiser’s experience).
- Escalate critical design decisions to appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Lead design reviews and workshops that drive alignment on key design opportunities, design practices that represent ROI for the business.
- Negotiation skills. - Experience with major entertainment brands. - Previous experience with project management or resource management tools. - Time Management skills in order to correctly manage fluctuating weekly volumes.
