**Key Responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Global Talent Advisory Director and key local stakeholders (Costa Rica (Central America), Latin America & Caribbean region) to ensure that the organization’s strategies for acquiring and retaining talent aligns with overall strategic intent.
- Develop the regional human resource strategy (Costa Rica (Central America), Latin America & Caribbean region), annual plans and align them with the regional Talent strategy.
- Establish a human resources infrastructure aligned to the local requirements of Costa Rica that will enable the Dentons Global location strategy in the region.
- Provide solutions to strategic and operational human resources issues, develop a trusting and consultative relationship with employees and all levels of management, including leadership at a Global and local (regional) level.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of global & local (regional) strategies and build relationships to improve overall capacity to manage various human resources projects.
- Consult with the Global Talent Advisory Director, Global Talent team and local stakeholders to influence and facilitate the development of the organization priorities and support them to lead and manage people in a complex and changing global & local (regional) work environment.
- Actively participate in the design and planning of global human resources initiatives and support the implementation of various associated projects globally and locally (region).
- Using extensive skills, knowledge, effective judgement, and business acumen to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organizational design, employee engagement and strategic workforce planning, talent analytics and management, ensuring consistency throughout and overall governance of the talent function globally and locally (region) with clear alignment to the overall Talent Strategy.
- Support various strategic people initiatives locally in Cosa Rica (Central America) & the Latin America & Caribbean region, developing a project scope statement, managing resources and stakeholders, and communicating in large and small groups.

**Requirements**:
**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**
- Experience at Senior HR Business Partner level and have a proven track record in core HR competencies.
- Delivery focused and able to demonstrate a highly client centric service.
- Experience of working in a highly commercial environment, within Legal, Financial Services or Regulated industry would be ideal but not essential.
- Understand operating in a COE (Centres of Excellence) model and how to leverage those relationships to deliver on various projects.
- Able to interpret data and use this to identify trends and make considered decisions quick and efficiently.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and complex matrix environment and relish working in a change environment.
- Adept at communicating, influencing, coaching, educating, challenging, and managing senior stakeholders.

**Essential Qualifications / Experience**
- Degree in Human Resources Management/Social Sciences/Equivalent.
- Demonstratable experience in leadership and labour legislative compliance locally
- Minimum of 8 years in Human Resource Management
- Minimum of 3 years within a management level position
- MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills)
