**Position Profile**

This position will play a key role in communicating security concepts and problems to our client and organizing a response to security issues that arise.

The Senior Security Architect and Liaison will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions that protect our clients' critical information assets and infrastructure. This role will lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements if applicable. Additionally, the Senior Security Architect and Liaison will work with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks and provide recommendations on security technologies and processes.

Position Responsibilities:

- Function as the liaison with government
- A key skill is the ability to clearly communicate and respond to security issues as they arise - to ensure the customer understands the problem and our organization’s (AlphaPoint’s) response to that problem.
- Responsible for owning and resolving security problems with a focus on our client.
- This position will help direct priority and relate problems and defects to the development team for resolution or mitigation.
- This position will help design security features with direct input from the client.
- Provide recommendations on security technologies and processes to improve the overall security posture of our client.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security technologies and trends to proactively identify potential risks and recommend solutions
- Manage and mentor junior security team members to ensure continued professional development and growth

**Required Experience and Expertise**:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related business field with 10 years minimum of progressive experience at a senior-level corporate security position
- Proven technical expertise in an area of cyber security
- Prior experience working with Trading systems or in the Capital Markets industry
- Proven recent experience leading a Global technology/development/IT function in an early-stage growth organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrates significant knowledge of the current cryptocurrency market and the financial industry
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate both on-shore and off-shore employees to perform at peak standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
