We are seeking an **Automation Engineer I **to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based in Costa Rica.

**Job Summary**

**Duties and Responsibilities**- Develop test scenarios and automated test cases using existing automation tools and frameworks.- Monitor and triage all automation executions, often on the critical path to product releases.- Design, implement and deploy enhancements to automation tools, for use by the Automation teams.- Enhance CI solutions and automated test environments and reporting solutions.- Hands-on involvement in all phases of product development, including planning, design, implementation, and execution of automated tests, defect logging and verification, and reporting results.- Implement, track, and report key metrics to assure performance and value of automation.

**Required Qualifications**- BS in Computer Science or equivalent- 1-3 years' industry experience in Software Engineering- 1-3 years' experience designing, implementing, and executing automated frameworks for testing client and server technologies.- Strong Java development skills using object-oriented design principles- Experience using Selenium or similar for automating UIs- Experience working with and building automated tests at the API and UI interface layer- TestNG experience is desirable- Strong Python development skills using object-oriented design principles in desirable- Self-driven with a solid background in software/automation development- Comfortable engaging cross-functional partners including development teams, system architects, product management, and QA- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
