Kinect Consulting is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated AWS Infrastructure Automation Engineer to lead RapidCloud automation efforts and help our customers adopt and use the framework. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of RapidCloud for many customers for years to come as well as for internal use by Kinect Consulting Platform Engineering team
- We are looking for an engineer with excellent design, coding skills and passion for Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD challenges to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing infrastructure as code for our different projects. You should have significant Terraform experience and strong AWS skills. Python development experience would also be helpful.

About the Opportunity

You are a motivated engineer who is passionate about building at scale on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and developing automation. You thrive at simplifying hard problems and can articulate the solution to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You know there are tradeoffs between short-term productivity and long-term vision for the team, while being

pragmatic about it. You have a deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (DNS, Networking, VPC, EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc...), IaC using Terraform and how to best to use them.

Key Responsibilities- Provide infrastructure automation technical leadership, experience, and expertise throughout all tasks- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform- Build and enhance RapidCloud features to support following AWS use cases:
- Serverless and Containers- Web and Mobile Applications- Database migrations to AWS- Governance, Security, Compliance- And other use-cases via RapidCloud Custom Modules- Ensure security is integrated into all solutions developed.

Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as an Infrastructure Automation or DevOps Engineer- Advanced knowledge on AWS cloud infrastructure (must)- Advanced knowledge on IaC using Terraform (must)- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD best practices, design and templating- Intermediate knowledge on python (preferred)- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred certifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional- Experience with Gitlab and Packer- Hashicorp Terraform Associate
