**Product Drafter I (2D/3D)**

**Goal**

Provide 3D Drafting support for Control Panel Design group. The Control Panel designs completed by this group will be placed onto various HVAC equipment lines, manufactured, and shipped globally.

**Essential Functions**
- Provide 3D drafting and drawing support based upon project requirements.
- Create / update mechanical and electrical drawings (e.g., assembly, plastic part, printed circuit board, wiring, mounting, etc.) using PTC Creo software.
- Update panel layout and wiring designs using Mentor Graphics Dx Designer and Expedition.
- Work with engineers to assure that design features, dimensions, tolerances, and allowances conform to functional and manufacturing requirements.
- Recommend design enhancements to the engineers.
- Prepare and release product & packaging labelling.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

What we look for:
**Required**
- 2+ years of experience in product drafting or detailed manufacturing drafting including circuit boards, controllers, electronics, mechanical products, electrical panels, control panels, etc.
- Must be able to meet deadlines while maintain a positive attitude.
- Effective and professional communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
- General business level in English (B2)

**Preferred**
- Experience in the PTC Creo 3D drawing software
- Previous experience in product design, product manufacturing, or industrial controls is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to learn UL standards, manufacturing processes, and additional necessary software.
- Knowledge of basic low voltage electrical system schematics and diagrams.
