What You Will Do

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the LATAM Tax Manager to accomplish the following responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly Costa Rica VAT compliance
- Monthly reconciliation of all LATAM tax balance sheet accounts
- Monthly booking of journal entries to clear tax accounts on a project basis
- Review monthly Colombia, Mexico and Brazil tax compliance
- Compile monthly accounts payable booking details and support documentation for posting tax payments
- Support Costa Rica, Mexico and Colombia Tax audit requests
- Assist LATAM Tax Manager in other tax and accounting related activities

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor or Technical or bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in General Ledger and/or Tax Compliance
- Proficient in English (Spoken, Written & Listening)
- Proficient with excel
- Deep accounting understanding. Capable of analyzing accounts nature and get into solutions for its proper balance clearing
- Understanding of tax accounts
- Highly organized, detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy
- Proactive and able to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Able to work well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines
- Able to respond to external and internal clients in a timely and professional manner
- Experience in Architecture or other service firm a plus
