**BAT COSTA RICA IS LOOKING FOR A RECORD TO REPORT TEAM LEADER**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-Manager

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to: Lead Finance Manager**

**Reporting Level**:No direct reports

**Geographic Scope**:USA

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Daily Management of the General Ledger.
- Review established workflow and identified areas for improvement and escalation.
- Review escalated issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports as per agreed timeline to allow end markets review and analysis.
- Oversee general ledger accounts reconciliations within the function and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor month-end activities, ensuring accurately, and period is closed as per agreed timetable.
- Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
- Ensure accuracy and timely execution of SOX controls.
- Communicate with stakeholders by solving issues, providing guidance, and promoting a customer-oriented culture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 2 years of experience in accounting, or related area.
- Knowledge of statutory and management accounting principles for the countries within AMER is an advantage.
- Strong accounting knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory, Management and other relevant reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of processes.
- Evaluate potential impacts in other areas and expose concerns to others before making decisions.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.
