**What’s the position?**

We are currently searching for a **Product Manager** to join our team, based in Costa Rica working partly remotely, partly from our office in San Jose. The Product Manager independently creates, manages, and continuously refines our travel experiences to our guests in Oceania and Latin America to support business growth and achieve high guest satisfaction. H/she continuously develops a suitable and competitive product offering, by understanding the existing and emerging needs of our target guest segments and analyzing our competition. H/she owns the product and price setup in our systems, selects suitable partners, drives negotiations of rates and specials, and manages partner relationships to help our company and partners work effectively with each other. As part of this, the Product Manager sets expectations, systematically measures the partners' performance, and intervenes in a timely and effective manner to course correct as needed. In the future, the role may entail driving expansion to additional countries in Oceania, Latin America, and other parts of the world.

**What do we expect from you?**
- You have 5+ years of Product Management experience in tourism, ideally for an international tour operator.
- You have a deep understanding of discerning travelers from Europe, North America, and Australia and in-depth knowledge of travel destinations in Latin America.
- You speak Spanish and English fluently.
- You are passionate about creating amazing experiences when it comes to traveling.
- You have strong analytical abilities and business sense and can multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- You have outstanding people and relationship-building skills, enjoy communicating with people, and have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. This entails empathy, assertiveness, listening, negotiating, presentation, and ideally content writing skills.
