About this role
What You’ll Do
- Experience with Agile Program Management methodology in large organizations (essential)
- First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PMI or SCRUM) (essential)
- Experience in dealing with customer demands and being able to manage different types of interactions in a professional manner. (have to)
- Experience coordinating multiple scrum teams
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
- Ability to guide team through branch/merge strategy, code registration rules, defect management strategy.
- Understanding of Sprint metrics, removing barriers, focused on agile modular deliveries and having negotiation skills in different areas.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, conflict resolution and coaching skills.
- Technical degree (graduate in computer science or electronics) - preferably
- Good exposure to DevOps engineering.
- Strong project management skills, including different methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to bring rigor and structure to the delivery of transformation projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and/or projects is required, this includes skills in industry standard project management methodologies and frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and/or projects in the areas of cloud computing and infrastructure/enterprise platforms
The role will involve being able to work well with diverse teams, in different organizations, different geographic locations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, as this role will require interaction at a variety of levels across DXC, Clients and 3rd party organizations and will require regular discussions and negotiations on deliverables.
- You must understand the concepts of Service Management (ITIL), specifically in Release & Operations.
