**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-management

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This is a Global role and has under its scope the Americas and Africa region. The core responsibilities of the role consist on the review of BAT companies databases to make comparisons against global sanctions lists and raise it if vital.

**Reports to**:Sanction Screening Team Leader

**Reporting Level**:Non-management

**Geographic Scope: Global**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Prepare sophisticated reports using the technical systems used within the team;
- Ensuring ad-hoc reports extracted from the system are dealt in line with Service Level Agreement (SLA);
- Ensuring timeless, accuracy and completeness of Sanction Screening, identifying, and resolving data quality issues;
- Generate and share comprehensive and detailed knowledge to maintain a database free from the risks of sanctions through daily activities;
- Assist in ensuring alignment to agreed operating procedure guidelines;
- Maintaining robust data management policies, procedures and processes, and a robust control environment;
- Ensure service levels and targets are consistent with quality and timeliness, and that service is delivered in accordance with agreed TAT
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with partners to analyze information needs and functional requirements;
- Assist the Sanction Screening Lead in adhering to Master Data Management standard processes, including data accuracy, policy compliance, etc.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

**Experience Required**
- Two years of experience in data management or experience/ knowledge on Master Data on finance roles (OTC, P2P, Transactional)

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office standard pack (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Good understanding of the control environment within Share Services
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, detail oriented and well organized;
- Priorities own work / understands critical issue trigger points

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- Bachelors degree of Business Administration, Accounting, Software Engineer or related fields.
- Intermediate - Advanced English (verbal, written and comprehension) skills (Level B2 least).
