**Your Mission**

**Ensure the research, development and/or adaptation of Products **required by the company**_ _**to contribute to the business growth and operational efficiency.**

**What you will do**
- Development of new products and concepts in line with the yearly marketing plan and

customer demands by following the process.
- Participate in the cost reduction programs maintaining performances, including raw material rationalization, optimisation of existing portfolios (SKU reduction, positioning,...)
- Business Development support to Sales for product categories by identifying new business opportunities at large customers.
- Making internal and external presentation and seminars explaining benefits of our products
- Support in case of quality issues by using root-cause analysis and rework, ensuring that all steps are respected for a faultless implementation of new products in production and review on a yearly base with QC the non-conformities and look for optimizations
- Ensure complete documentation on raw materials, formulations, process parameters, item requests, QC tests, labelling, TDS on new or revised products;
- Build around the expertise an active network of high commercial value of customers, machine suppliers, researchers, vendors and the international Puratos R&D community
- Provide intelligence on innovative raw materials & technologies that can differentiate our products
- Comply with our food safety procedures upon new raw material selection, product development or modification and sample preparation.
- report all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and / or head of Quality.

**What we expect from you**
- University Studies: Food Engineer, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineer or similar career.
- At least 2 years of experience in related positions, ideally in the food or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of ISO/FSSC22000 quality
- Excel and SAP knowledge.
- Proficiency in the English language.
