Product Design Lead

We're looking for an inspired, motivated, and experienced Product Design Lead to join our team. The role of the Product Design Lead is to guide a team strategically in one account or a group of small bills in meeting the client’s business goals and customer expectations by providing an exceptional user experience for digital products. The Product Design Lead’s primary responsibilities include aligning the team with business goals and user needs, developing complex, innovative UX/UI strategies, planning how to carry out projects, conducting research and design-thinking exercises, defining information architecture, providing direction and quality assurance on solution proposals and visual design processes, and ensuring the proper handoff of the final designs to developers.

**In this role, you will**:

- Define, oversee, and monitor all product design activities and processes, from concept to implementation.
- Led a team of UX Designers, UI Designers, and Copywriters.
- Lead, execute, and guide the following product design activities: discovery sessions, research, user interviews, user testing, requirements gathering, empathize with the user, design thinking, personas, journeys, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, user interface, and design systems.
- Work closely with clients, business partners, industry experts, and the development team to achieve the business goals.
- Carrie out complex and test user experience and behavior to determine their needs, feelings, desires, and pain points.
- Structure user research insights using design-thinking exercises.
- Design complex and innovative information structure hierarchy based on UX strategy.
- Sketches out and come up with solutions proposals. Finds opportunities beyond the original ask and creates various complex and innovative solutions for a given problem based on experience.
- Design user interfaces and Implement processes to produce complex design systems.
- Prepare handoff for the development team.
- The guide teaches and provides design direction and oversight for the product design team.
- Mentor and coach team members through project development and performance management.
- Define design quality standards for different UX and UI project types.
- Help build team culture with drive, collaboration, transparency, and inspiring spirit.
- Optimize product design execution processes for different client environments to ensure optimal delivery.
- Understand, analyze, and respond to client briefs and requests.
- Develop design estimates, direct proper casting for design projects and contribute to project allocation.
- Provide reliable quality assurance on all deliverables.
- Collaborate with other disciplines Leads to improve workflows and frameworks.
- Build and maintain a rapport with clients, creative partners on the client-side, and other partners agencies and vendors.
- Contribute to the innovative development of the Product Design team.
- Stay current with the latest design trends, systems, tools, technologies, and platforms, and foster a collaborative learning environment among team members that encourages them to strive for excellence.

**What are we looking for? Besides a great attitude**

**You should have**:

- 6+ yrs. Experience in UX agencies, digital agencies, design agencies, and startups.
- Experience leading projects and teams on UX/UI, Product Design for international clients and global brands.
- Strong UX portfolio, including pieces for international clients.
- Experience in at least three different industries as fintech, automotive, health, eCommerce, food chains, and others.
- Expertise in user interface design and design systems
- Understanding interactivity, animation principles, and best practices it’s preferred.
- A Product Design Lead must be current with the latest design and prototyping tools used in their area. These tools include (but are not limited to): Figma, Notion, Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Principle.
- Understanding of digital marketing, online advertising, and business strategy concepts.
- Proven experience with the primary responsibilities of a Product Design Lead mentioned above.

**It's a plus if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design Advertising Design or related field or equivalent experience in advertising and digital agencies or startups.
- Any certification, course, or training on UX, UI, visual design, design systems, marketing campaigns, business, and design thinking.
