- 2+ years’ experience as a designer in a creative agency or similar creative production environment.
- Bachelor or higher degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing or a related field or an equally strong and relevant portfolio of work.
- English proficiency, written and spoken (B2 minimum).
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Photoshop.
- Experience in Digital Marketing.
- Experience working with International/Global Brands
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.

Amazon Advertising is looking for a talented and passionate Visual Designer to join the creative service team based in San José, Costa Rica.

We are looking for design experts, who think on their feet and process information rapidly, while focusing on high quality deliverables. You will know and accept the fact that no solution is perfect, but will strike to achieve the best.

Key job responsibilities

- Help design marketing and promotional materials including but not limited to off-site banners, and on-site banners maintaining high productivity, quality standards and meeting turnaround time targets.
- Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product specs, policies and creative guidelines.
- Optimize digital images for web, mobile, big screen and other devices.
- Propose user-centered designs by integrating style guides, creativity, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Help ensure quality control, while working closely with marketing stakeholders, design peers and quality specialist.
- Exhibit an ability to follow creative lead as expected, and also contribute to push the creative envelope in a constructive, memorable way with the customer in mind.
- Act as an expert for one or more design categories, helping resolve customer queries, troubleshooting when needed, as well as training and mentoring new employees.
- Be able to incorporate an analytical thinking in a design role.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of Agency environment experience producing design or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Visual Design/Visual Communication/Graphic Design related creative studies.
- English proficiency, written and spoken (B2 minimum).
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Photoshop.
- Experience working with International/Global Brands
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Thorough knowledge of design practices, tools, and standards.
- Demonstrates an understanding of visual hierarchy.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Self-driven and able to closely track and prioritize work efforts.

- Well-versed in the use of Photoshop Artboards.
- Experience in Digital Marketing.
- Motion graphics and/or video editing knowledge is a plus.
- Well-versed on Photoshop Art-boards and other Creative Suite tools.
- Thorough knowledge of design practices, tools, and standards.
- Demonstrates an understanding of visual hierarchy.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Self-driven and able to closely track and prioritize work efforts.
- Motion graphics and/or video editing knowledge is a plus
