**Supervisor, Compliance Operations**

This position operates within the Back Office organization under Compliance Operations unit, ensuring Convera is complying with different Sanctions regulations and internal controls.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Operations management on daily workflows and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Helping to resolve employee issues, escalations, and disputes.
- Ensuring that team members adhere to Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
- Supervises ~15 staff positions, evaluating performance and providing coaching.
- Ensuring that the procedural updates are reflected in the internal team's documentation.
- Ensuring required training and access for new hires are provided in a timely manner.
- Reporting to senior management and supporting them with daily tasks and business needs.
- Fostering improvements internally and representing Compliance Operations team in projects among the organization, including but not limited to other Operations groups, and Compliance partners.

**What will you need to succeed**:

- 3+ years on people manager experience, effective leader, and ability to mentor team members.
- Be able to develop employees based on their individual strengths.
- Prior experience in AML Compliance, Operations, Payments, and/or Know your Customer (KYC) field is a plus.
- +2 years of experience or certification in Project Management is a plus.
- Strong skills to communicate well with diverse groups in the organization.
- Utilize problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
- To have strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Showing initiative and driving improvements in your area of responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, management, banking, or a related field preferred is a plus.
