**BAT COSTA RICA** **IS LOOKING FOR A PLANNING & REPORTING ANALYST (FP&A)**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Experienced** **non-management

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**LOCATION**:Heredia, CR

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of GBS Finance. The role is responsible for the financial analysis for Reynolds, as well as handling ad-hoc requirements with the ability to present information through dashboards in Excel and Power BI.

**Reports to**:Planning and Report Lead

**Reporting Level**:Junior-management

**Geographic Scope**:US

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Review financial documents for actual/planning reporting
- Review and approve weekly/monthly reports
- Coordinate Bi-Annual forecast planning cycles and financial reviews
- Coordinate Bi-Annual /half year/full year reporting cycles and financial reviews
- Promote standardization, automation and simplification of processes which fall within the boundaries of the Planning & Reporting area
- Review and provide accurate and timely monthly variance data and root cause analysis for volume, revenue and cost of sales
- Manage ad-hoc projects as the need arises
- Engage with different partners

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- A bachelor´s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or related fields
- At least 3 years of work experience as a senior finance analyst or similar roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ / C1)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (VBA, Macros)
- Power
- BI knowledge
- Solid skills in time management, prioritization and problem solving
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to details with ability to spot numerical errors
- Rational decision making and problem-solving abilities are essential
- Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines
- Self-starter who can work without mínimal direct supervision

**BENEFICIAL**
- US GAAP & IFRS basic knowledge is a plus
- BPC system knowledge is desirable
- SAP knowledge is a plus
