**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Implementation Engineering
- Works on multiple simultaneous projects to implement new technologies and configuration in conjunction with other EDIS Security Groups.
- Serves as technical consultant on divisional network projects
- Service Transition
- Participates in the EDIS/Security Release Management Process for New Services and ongoing Service Feature releases to include, but not limited to:
Working with Service Design on the initial service concept ensuring a handover to Service Transition
- Working in a cross functional team to develop the service and required deliverables
- Working with Service Delivery/Operations to train and handover the service such that it can be delivered and supported consistently
- Participates in and applies the same Process for subsequent service releases as defined by the Service Roadmap
- Acts an interface between Service Design and Service Delivery/Operations
- Fourth Level Support
- Provides 4th level support to Operations for escalated issues and drives these to resolution
- Works with Design Engineering on chronic Problems

**Qualifications**

**EDUCATION**
- BA/BS in Information Systems or related area required
- Cisco Qualifications, CCNA/CCNP Preferred

**EXPERIENCE**
- Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills
- Advanced English language skills (verbal, reading, writing, understanding)
- Experience of working in a global environment essential
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues essential
- Hands on experience with Cisco hardware essential
- Process Discipline and Documentation skills essential
- Minimum of three years experience in the design, implementation and operation of WAN/LAN networks with Cisco hardware
- Minimum of two years experience in the design, implementation and operation of Data Center Networks, based on Cisco hardware
- Knowledge of ITIL v3 an advantage, but not necessary
